Kindermusik in the Park
This class will be held at Commonwealth Park in Bexley. In the event of inclement weather, families will be notified and the class will be held at the studio. If your child is slightly out of the age range, please contact us to see if this class will be a good fit.
Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, and self-control.
Digital albums, narrated e-books, and more are available on our password-protected family platform, accessible via desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.

Kindermusik Level 3
Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.
- Language Understanding
Children gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols. - Cognitive
Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus. - Listening and Sound Recognition
Children are able to detect patterns, nuances, and timbre in different sounds they hear. - Socialization
Children learn to wait patiently, take turns, work cooperatively in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully.
Miss Christa
Miss Christa grew up in Columbus, Ohio and has a very large, musical family. Christa's first music love was the piano, starting lessons at age four. Throughout school she was a part of many choirs, played violin in the orchestra, and enjoyed performing in many musicals and plays. She also had many jobs working with children as a babysitter, camp counselor, and piano teacher. When it came time to choose a career, there was no question that becoming a music teacher was in her future. Christa received a degree in Music Education from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and started her teaching journey working with K-8 students in a district in Central Ohio. Christa taught general and choral music for nine years in schools, including five years of teaching NYC. After moving back to Columbus with her husband, Christa welcomed her first baby and began exploring teaching music to younger kiddos. Kindermusik was an obvious choice! She loves combining her love of music, working with children, and passion for family and deepening connections in these special classes. When Christa is not teaching Kindermusik classes she can be found teaching piano lessons, baking various goodies for friends and family, and exploring Columbus with her little family. In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. PAYMENT
A fee of $20 will be assessed for any declined electronic funds or late payments.
A non-refundable registration fee of $30.00 will be charged at the time of enrollment verification.
Monthly payments for school year classes will begin on September 1, 2024. Monthly payments will be charged on the first day of the Month while enrolled in classes. Monthly tuition will be prorated if enrollment occurs after the first of the month.
Monthly tuition is not representative of the number of classes in any given month. Monthly payments represent 1/9 of the entire school year cost, September through May.
COMMUNICATION
Our main form of communication regarding our classes is via email. Text messages may be utilized in addition to emails, on an opt-in basis. We do not release any personal information to third parties. Your family can opt out of receiving emails, but risk missing information regarding the classes, material, and cancellations.
CHANGE IN ENROLLMENT
If an enrollment needs to be withdrawn and cancelled, a "Change in Enrollment" form must be submitted by the 28th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month's tuition. This form can be found at https://www.murphymusicmakers.com/change-in-enrollment-form.
Change in Enrollment forms must be submitted in writing from the family or individual in charge of the account.
Murphy Music Makers will send an email confirmation that the withdrawal has been completed.
CONDUCT
Murphy Music Makers LLC has the authority to establish the rules necessary for the operation of the Programs or Events and has the sole discretion to decide that an individual should be separated from the Programs or Events because of a violation of such rules, for disruptive behavior, for conduct which could bring the Programs or Events and/or the Organization or its members into disrepute, or for conduct which violates any policy or procedure of the organization. The decision to separate the individual shall be final. I understand that if I am required to leave the Programs or Events, no refund will be made.
MISSED CLASSES
Refunds will be not be given for any missed classes. Make-up classes are unlimited, while currently enrolled in Beyond Arts & Musics' classes.
