Prelude Music Studio

Level 3

Ages 3 to 5

Designed for 3-4 year-old preschoolers

What should a music class for preschoolers include?
Not just playing instruments. Kindermusik Level 3 classes focus on that, as well as sound exploration, ensemble development, creative play, and more. Preschoolers will enjoy the fun of music-making while boosting all areas of learning.

Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, and self-control.
Uh-oh. It looks like the class you selected is ending soon and is no longer eligible for online registrations. Please contact the studio for more information. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Kindermusik Level 3

Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.

  • Language Understanding
Children gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols.
  • Cognitive
Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus.
  • Listening and Sound Recognition
Children are able to detect patterns, nuances, and timbre in different sounds they hear.
  • Socialization
Children learn to wait patiently, take turns, work cooperatively in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully.

Prelude Music Studio Policies and Registration Agreement

Welcome to our studio. We are passionate in our commitment to bringing music into the lives of every child. Our Mission is to provide your family with a class or lesson that promotes Joy, Safety, and Value.

- Regular attendance is important to a child’s sense of security. It is important that you make every effort to attend each class on a regular basis. When you pay your tuition, an instructor is assigned for a specific time each week. Your place in the class is exclusively reserved for you; therefore, there are no refunds or credits for classes missed due to student absence (including student illness or personal obligations).

- You may schedule a make-up in any age-appropriate class during the session you are registered for by accessing your account at and selecting make ups from the dropdown menu.

- If you miss a Playdate, you may reschedule by notifying us at least 24 hours in advance.

- If you will be absent, please extend a courtesy call to your teacher. If possible, a 24-hour notice is greatly appreciated. If for any reason your instructor must cancel a class session, the time will either be made up or a credit will be issued to be applied to your next tuition payment.

- All tuition fees for classes are due upon enrollment. Fees for online registrations will be posted automatically and charged to the credit card provided on the registration form.

- Missed classes are neither prorated nor refundable. If, after four weeks, you find that your child isn't making the progress you'd hoped for, don't worry. We'll unenroll you and cancel any further payments. For semester-based classes, we'll issue a credit for the remaining sessions, ensuring you can join us again when the time is right.

------ PRIVATE LESSONS ------

- Regular attendance and consistent practice are essential for musical progress. Your scheduled lesson time is exclusively reserved for you, and it is important to make every effort to attend each lesson on a regular basis.

- Private Lessons enroll on an ongoing month-to-month basis. Tuition is due the end of the month for the following month. If enrolling mid-month, tuition for any lessons scheduled during first partial month are due upon enrollment. Automatic payment options are available for private lessons - ask for details.

Cancellations without two-week notice are subject to a fee equal to the cost of one lesson. Upon cancellation, there is no tuition refund for the lessons remaining in that month.
