Recurring Class
2- and 3-year-olds have tons of energy and their own ideas. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.
Sibling and family discounts may apply; contact us for details. A $20 non-refundable annual registration fee initiates your enrollment. Our monthly tuition is 1/9th of the total for the school year providing a consistent, budget-friendly amount, and will not reflect a specific number of classes in any given month. Tuition is prorated from the day you enroll, so you’ll never pay for classes that have already occurred. Contact us with any questions.

Kindermusik Level 2
Have a very independent toddler? Want them to be more independent? Level 2 classes give toddlers the opportunity to express their own ideas and creativity. They’ll learn new vocabulary, play instruments, and do things “their own way,” while making cognitive strides.
- Whole Body
Muscles used for posture and balance strengthen and toddlers gain alertness, self-control, and the ability to regulate movement. - Fine-Motor Skills
Toddlers strengthen their finger and hand muscles, which increases fine motor skills needed to write. - Cognitive Development
With repetitive songs and rhymes, toddlers strengthen their ability to memorize, sequence, and predict patterns.
Jaime Tanner
Jaime Tanner has had a life-long passion for music. She was known as a baby to often reach up from the floor to play her piano at home. She began taking piano lessons at age ten, and has played piano almost every day since. In the sixth grade, she saw the high school chamber choir sing, and immediately decided that teaching music was what she wanted to do as her career. Jaime earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Miami, Florida, and a Master’s in Music from Kansas State University. Jaime has sung in professional, church, and community choirs throughout Kansas City, and performed in numerous theatrical productions including lead roles in South Pacific, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Wizard of Oz. For 11 years, Jaime taught middle school choir and directed musical productions in the Shawnee Mission School District. When she had her first child, she took him to a Summer Kindermusik Adventure with Miss Amy. Jaime was completely enamored with the program, so she resigned from SMSD in 2018 to teach Kindermusik! Jaime lives in Shawnee with her husband Andy and sons Henry, Eli, and Cole. In her spare time, she loves cooking, reading, and playing ninjas and superheroes with her boys.
