Kindermusik Level 3
Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.
- Language Understanding
Children gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols. - Cognitive
Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus. - Listening and Sound Recognition
Children are able to detect patterns, nuances, and timbre in different sounds they hear. - Socialization
Children learn to wait patiently, take turns, work cooperatively in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully.
Kru Toey
Ms. Sutawadee (Kru. Toey) is the director of Kindermusik Family Thailand and has more than 20 years of experience teaching music and movement to young children. She began her piano lessons at the age of 4. She graduated from the College of Music at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, with a major in "Jazz Studies." She was interested in music education for young children and studied Orff Schulwerk, Dalcroze, and Kodály. In 2009, she earned a certificate in "ADVANCED STUDIES IN MUSIC AND DANCE EDUCATION—ORFF-SSCHULWERK" from the Orff Institute at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. She also took the San Francisco International Orff Course and completed the highest level (level 3) in 2015. She is currently an "Orff Schulwerk" lecturer at College of Music, Mahidol University and works as a freelance speaker on "Music & Movement for Early Childhood" and "Teaching Orff Approach."
