Once registered for the entire summer, you will see individual weekly registrations appear in your inbox - we take care of this on the back end.

Joyful Sounds Summer Camps are built for kids who love to move, make music, and create!
Designed for students ages 5–12, our camps blend real musical learning with high-energy fun in a week that feels exciting for campers and reassuringly organized for parents.
Each day is structured and engaging, with rotating activities like group piano, rhythm drumming, singing, dance & choreo, crafts, outside time, and supervised free-choice breaks to keep kids inspired, active, and having fun.
Families can expect a camp week full of confidence-building, friendship, and joyful music-making, and at the end of the week, you’ll receive a highlight reel packed with memories and fun moments from your child’s camp experience.
We offer full-summer enrolment options or week-by-week registration, so you can choose exactly when your child attends.
Spots fill quickly – if your child loves music, movement, and creativity, this is the summer camp they’ll talk about all year.
Our camps are run by our Joyful Sounds professional team, and we keep our group ratios as low as 1:6. We believe that children deserve a safe summer that can be filled with special memories.
Camps run Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm, with drop off beginning at 8:30am and pickup by 4:30pm included at no additional cost.
A weekly feature is a walk to a local outdoor space, based on the weather forecast, and is a highlight of the week.
Students who do not own a ukulele should ensure they bring one to camp each week they are enrolled. We can send purchase links in the near future for those who need one. All other supplies, including piano keyboards, will be provided at camp.
Note: Children turning 5 by August 1st 2026 are eligible for our full day camps. Due to the fine motor skills, dexterity and attention span needed for our musical learning, we want to ensure children who attend can be successful and have fun.
Note: Have a child needing extra support? Please reach out in advance. If your child spends more than 50% of their school day in the learning centre at their school, supplemental staff support will be required for our camps at an additional cost.
Withdrawing from a camp before May 1st will result in a full refund.
Withdrawing from a camp on May 1st but before July 1st will result in a financial credit on your account that can be applied to any other Joyful Sounds class or lesson that is age appropriate
Withdrawing from a camp on July 1st or later will result in no refund or financial credit.
Includes early drop off starting at 8:30am and late pickup to 4:30pm 50% will be charged at registration. Remaining 50% will be charged on May 15th. Withdrawing from a camp before May 1st will result in a full refund. Withdrawing from a camp on May 1st but before July 1st will result in a financial credit on your account that can be applied to any other Joyful Sounds class or lesson that is age appropriate Withdrawing from a camp on July 1st or later will result in no refund or financial credit.

Welcome to our amazing studio space in Fall River Nova Scotia! We are conveniently located where Hwy 102 & 118 meet, across from Inn on the Lake. Whether you live in Bedford, Sackville, Dartmouth, Elmsdale, Larry Uteck, etc - we are just a short drive away! We hope you find it as warm and inviting as we do, with lots of inspiration to make beautiful music together. We offer Kindermusik classes at all age levels, as well as private Piano, Voice, Guitar, Fiddle, Drums & Ukulele lessons. Concert Bands, Singing Groups, Summer Broadway & Cover Band Camps too! Studio Policy
Joyful Sounds Enrollment Information. While some information for our classes would be specific, our overall studio enrollment information is similar.
Class-Specific information is found at time of registration, and will also be sent out again before your first class.
Joyful Sounds Music Studio classes take place from September to June during our school year session. Summer sessions are developed if space allows - our main studio location is filled with summer campers weekly. Families enrolled in group classes such as Kindermusik, KeyNotes, Pop Academy & more at Joyful Sounds Music Studio will receive 39 weeks of instruction, performance & celebration time.
Bonus Classes:
Families are invited to take advantage of our unlimited Bonus Class feature if applicable to your class. Currently, all Kindermusik & KeyNotes classes have unlimited Bonus class options. Pop Academy Soundcheck Bands & Theory classes also have these options. While you are an actively enrolled family, you can access bonus classes if you miss your actual class for any reason. Kindermusik families do this via our family platform at my.kindermusik.com. All other group classes will need to contact our Front Desk Team to book bonus classes.
For Kindermusik: Sick? Away? Crazy Day? No problem! Simply log into the platform and see all bonus class options available and book yourself a seat in class. The Kindermusik Educator will be automatically notified that you plan to attend.
Cancelled Classes (Staff):
Sometimes our teachers get sick or are performing and need to cancel classes. In these cases, the family account will have a financial credit created that will apply directly to the next monthly payment.
Payment Structure:
Our school year runs from September to June, with a total of 39 instructional class and performance/celebration weeks. The cost of all 39 weeks is divided into 10 equal monthly payments from September to June. This way, families can plan ahead for consistent payments throughout the year. Payments are charged on the 1st of the month.
Unenrollment
Need to stop your enrollment? No problem! Simply let us know before the 1st of the month to avoid next month’s charges. Should you provide notice on the 1st or later, your enrollment will continue for that month, and be scheduled for unenrollment at the end of that month.

- Joyful Sounds' new Musicianship "Level-Up" Challenges for lessons & classes where applicable
- Kindermusik App bonus access. The Kindermusik App is an incredible resource for your family that keeps the learning and development going at home. Download the app for free. Once enrolled in our classes, bonus access will be unlocked related to your class experience.
- Complimentary unlimited Bonus Classes while enrolled (mostly Kindermusik & KeyNotes). These can be booked via my.kindermusik.com
- Complimentary enrollment into any “Grandfriends” Outreach classes held throughout the school year outside of our West Bedford Location
